As difficult as it is to let go of a pristine '04 STi, it's time to make room for a larger vehicle. If you've shopped for an STI of this generation any time in the last 5 years, you know that finding a clean car with tasteful modifications that's been extremely well taken care of can be quite the task. The car is in great shape and is completely rust free. All of the maintenance work has been kept up to date and in the last 12mos, a lot of work has gone into making sure that it's ready to continue being an enjoyable, reliable driver for years to come. We bought this car from it's original owner, also a local Subaru enthusiast. It has always been used as a daily driver and has never been tracked (both had other cars for track use). The car is in terrific shape, but like any 10yr old car, has the usual door ding or rock chip here and there. Those aside, the paint is immaculate and has been maintained by washing and waxing on a regular basis (polishing yearly). The interior is equally beautiful, with no stains, tears or blemishes on the seats or carpet. Plastic trim panels are very well kept, with only a couple of small blemishes. The stock turbo was replaced with the FP 68HTA after the oil line filter clogged in 2011. With the new turbo and a new fuel pump/injectors, the car was tuned locally by NF Performance, so they are familiar with it should you decide to make changes. The car hasn't been on a dyno, but was tuned to have a smooth, usable powerband, not just peak power. As far as tasteful, mild modification goes, this car is a perfect balance. It's road manners have remained intact, but don't be fooled, it is a BEAST when you put your foot down. After you've gone to see other STis for sale, come and see what sets this one apart from the others. We'd really like to pass this on to another local enthusiast. Asking $17,500 Please contact Justin Grimm ([email protected]) with questions or to see the car.
