FS: 2004 WRX wagon, $5k

Note: I know this is my first post. This isn't my first forum rodeo, and I hope you'll excuse the first time post from some jerk who's owned mostly BMWs trying to sell something, I always hate that guy. I'm a car guy, long time contributor to the local autocross club, with a car I think this forum would appreciate. Shane Donahue knows me well, and can probably tell you incriminating stories that probably don't help my case here, but prove that I am a real person trying to sell a real car.

FOR SALE:

2004 Subaru Impreza WRX wagon manual, black on black/grey, 102k, $5,000
Currently in NE Minneapolis

This is an ideal winter car with just enough mods and extras to make it really easy to drive and rewarding in the winter, but not some crazy modded beat up wreck. I’m selling this for my friend Elliott because his wife has cancer. (he has enough problems to deal with so I'm dealing with the car) I thought about buying it as a winter car for myself that I wouldn’t feel bad about putting on the street, but I just can’t afford it with having just bought an M3.

The good:
- 16” stock wheels w/ Nokian Hakkapalita snow tires
- 17” wheels w/ Falken Azenis
- Three spare winter tires
- Three spare summer tires
- Godspeed downpipe
- Cobb cat back exhaust
- Stage 2 open source tune
- New accessory belts
- New O2 sensors

The bad:
- Rusty, sat on the street
- Needs timing belt, fluid flush, brake pads

Thanks for the interest everyone, I'm happy to report that the car sold last night to the brother of a forum member.

Elliott is ecstatic to have a little extra operating room in his budget with Lindsay now on medical leave, and hopefully the new owner enjoys this special vehicle.

 

No wonder it sold quick, it was probably the only reasonably priced WRX for sale in the state.
