For sale is my 5 speed 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited with 135,xxx miles. The car is Obsidian Black Pearl in color with black leather interior. I am the second owner and just bought the car in February from Bloomington Acura Subaru. It was owned previously by Brown Paper Company out of Waseca and was driven by a salesman (which explains the miles - all highway no doubt).

The car was taken in on trade from the dealership a little before I purchased it with cracked exhaust ports (this is what the paperwork I have says, anyway!). I agreed to purchase the car contingent on a test drive when the motor work was completed. Well, long story short they ended putting much, much more money into the motor than they thought. When they got into it they found scoring in cylinder wall #2. All in all, with parts and labor, it equaled $5,032.02. This includes a short block (or small block as the salesmen said), new gaskets, head work, etc. I have an itemized breakdown of EVERYTHING that was done to the car at the dealership. Additionally, I have some of the paperwork that they had in their system for maintenance from the previous owner (timing belt, oil changes, etc). Obviously, I don’t have all the information but considering it was a fleet car, it was probably taken care of. Speaking of that, the car has a clean title and has always been a Minnesota car. Since I have bought it the oil was changed at 500 and 1,000 miles with Castrol GTX and Subaru OEM filters and every 3,000 after with Mobile 1 synthetic and Subaru OEM oil filters (I have all receipts). I have owned the car since 126,553. Since I bought the car I’ve had 0 issues.

The car is overall very clean. It has some rock chips on the front and door dings on the sides, but nothing that sticks out too much. I plan to have all of these things fixed if I don’t sell the car soon anyway. The car is completely rust free and has NO ISSUES to report. Everything electrical works as it should and there are no odd noises or creaks. The interior is VERY clean - I am tedious about my cars. It gets washed inside and out at least twice a week. The tires were just replaced with KUHMO KH16s (215/45/17). The brakes are in good condition and have plenty of life left. The car has new Bosch windshield wipers (adds 5WHP). The car just had the transmission, front differential, and rear differential flushed and now have all Amsoil fluids. Two very small things to note that are not perfect: one of the studs on the turbo is stripped and has no nut on it. This hasn't given me a single issue and is apparently pretty common. I also have a small exhaust leak from the header to up pipe that will be resolved this weekend. When I did the exhaust, all new gaskets were used (OEM Subaru).

    Power mods:

    3" Megan Racing catless downpipe
3" Bosal catback (with all new RalliTEK exhaust hangers)
    TurboXS catless up pipe
"Nuke" Stage 2 tune at 15.5 PSI

    Suspension:
K Sport Kontrol Pro 32 way adjustable coilovers

    Visual:
    STi pedals
    Kartboy shift knob
    55w 6000K DDM HIDs
Blacked out and cleared headlights with DRL disabled
    PIAA yellow fog lights
    Stock grill painted black
    30% tint

With those mods, it should be around 250WHP and 300WTQ at the wheels. I never beat on the car and only drive it in boost after it's been given a chance to fully warm up. I’m looking for $11,900 OBO. Or best offer means shoot me whatever you’ve got. That price seems to be in line with what others are going for in this area. I’m not looking for any trades at this time. I'm only selling the car to fund another project (V8 swapped FC RX-7!). There is a lien on the car currently. I don’t think I’m missing anything, but if I am ask away. You can email me at davidphumes at gmail dot com or call me at 218-343-5008. I'm definitely open for test drives, etc. No low ballers or tire kickers. The car is located in Duluth, Minnesota. The VIN is available upon request. Tabs are good until December. Thanks for looking!

I can personally speak on this cars behalf.

Been there since David picked it up with the fresh "Small block" :)

I'd say this actually sees more like 3-4 car washes a week.
    Picky clean inside and out.

Thanks for the comments guys! Just to note: the pictures are with a Momo shift knob installed. It was really worn down so I actually put the Kartboy on today.

Also, everyone please keep in mind the price is OBO. I don't owe a whole lot on the car so you never know what I might accept.

Haha so that was you! Yeah that was a pretty intense few days. The dealership told me repeatedly they didn't want me to buy it for the agreed price after doing all of that work. Oh well. Their loss, my gain. If you're still interested let me know! I'm open to offers.

Yeah, that's what caught my eye was the price they had it at. After seeing the receipts for the work, I could see why they were throwing a fit!! I managed to pick up an 06 LGT (that's about to go stage 3 soon!) about 2 weeks after I called the dealer about yours. GLWS tho!

Likewise, I have an 06 LGT, that I'd trade cash plus OEM if you decide to part out.

Sold for $10,250 without the coilovers (just in case anybody ever searches for pricing info - I hate when people leave that out/delete it)

My new car I'm picking up Saturday:
