I am selling my 2005 OBP Impreza WRX. Reason for selling is I found out the syncrho's are going out. I do not have the cash to fix it and must sell this for a new car. The car still runs and drives, it is just a bit stiff going into 1st, 3rd and 5th gear. I am the second owner of this car.

    Mileage- 148,xxx
    Asking- $4,300 or best offer

-I have been running Subaru 5w30 synthetic oil since the car hit 85,000.
-Timing belt, water pump and pulleys done at 110,000 with Gates kit.
-New spark plugs around 110,000 miles.
-New valve cover gasket around 115,000 miles.
    -New radiator around 120,000 miles.

I do have a list of other maintenance records for any possible buyer.

    List of Mods:
-Cobb stage 2 tune from Accessport
    -Megan Racing cat-less down pipe
    -07 STi cat back
    -Cobb heat shield
-Karboy short throw shifter (stock included)
-Eibach 22mm front and rear sway bars (stock bars included)
-Eibach rear end links (stock included)
    -Perrin front endlinks (stock included)
    -Perrin stout mounts
-eBay front and rear strut tower braces
-Perrin drop in foam air filter x2
    -Perrin Afta tube (stock included)
    -Mach V SS brake lines
-JVC CD player with USB and AUX ports
    -JDM red hazard switch
    -07 WRX 17 inch wheels with Dunlop Direzza DZ101 225x45 17

I also have a box of random parts I will throw in.

    Cons:
-The A/C works, it just had a leak some where in a line. I had dye run through with the last recharge, but was not able to fix it at the time.
-There is a spot on the front bumper after some one back into the car in a parking lot. I was able to pop it in where it was cracked, but you can still see the spot.

I'd pick this up, but I wouldn't have the time to fix it unfortunately.

5 speeds are cheap and easy to find, not to mention not hard to pull and put back in a new one.

I looked into rebuilding it with Subaru synchros, Subaru bearings, ACT clutch, ACT flywheel (since both are still the original from the factory) and a few other random needs, it would about $1640 for the parts. Then whatever labor costs might be.

I just paid her off in July and really have not had the time to save any cash. Anyone who picks her up will have a great car after the fix.

I get 1 day off of work per week, and that day is spent catching up on homework I missed, and studying for future tests.
