My bike is for sale and YOU can buy it! Asking 3200, but shoot me an offer I can't refuse. Also totally willing to accept trades if you have something cool that you think I'd like.

I have for sale a 2005 Yamaha R6, 16,8xx miles on the odometer. It has been laid down twice that I am aware of, both by the previous owner at relatively low speeds (5mph and lower), both sides. The extent of the damage is minimal and only to the plastics and pegs. It is in great mechanical shape and I've never experienced a single issue with it. I will also include an almost complete set of stock yamaha R6 fairings in blue that are in decent shape, this is an expensive set but I received them along with the bike and would like to get rid of them as well. The only missing fairing is the riders right side upper fairing.

I had bought this in the fall of last year with the intention of using it as a track only bike and replacing all the plastics with race plastics but some other stuff going in my life prevented me from ever getting out so I only rode it on the street. The previous owner had done all of the modifications or had purchased it modified and did not know because I was under the impression it was stock aside from a slip on when I went to buy it. I'm now selling it for two reasons: I am moving out of state and do not want to transport it, and I am looking to upgrade to an Italian bike or a liter bike.

The bike is sprocketed, I am not sure what the gearing is but the mileage on the odometer is higher than the miles on the bike, I would venture to guess it's in the 13,XXX range and the speedo reads slightly higher than actual speed depending on how fast you're going. (For example an indicated 41mph is actually 35, and an indicated 189mph is actually 160.) It will pull a few bike lengths on an R6 with stock gearing.

The bike is lowered, if you have ridden an R6 before it will feel a bit strange, but I can touch knee on it just fine, the lowering just takes a few days of getting used to.

This is an 05 so it has the 41mm inverted front fork, 70 series front tire, stiffer frame, and larger 4 pot calipers with full floating rotors.

    The Pros:
    Sprockets
    Lower miles
    Yoshi slip on
Brand new back tire this year, had it for maybe 600-700 miles
Fresh oil and filter within the last 200 miles
    Tank has no dents/scratches
Almost a complete set of OEM blue Yamaha fairings will be included (right side upper fairing not included)
The 2005 R6's are slightly upgraded from the 04 and 03

    Cons:
Plastics are rough at best, they are also plastidipped purple
Left side front blinker is beat up (it is a flush mount)
Clutch has some slop, I'm used to it and haven't bothered to adjust it
Could use a DRD/speedo healer if you're looking to get an accurate reading on speed, otherwise you can just calculate actual speed while you're riding
Will need a new front tire soon, will easily go the rest of the season however.

To be a perfect R6 it would need plastics (included) and a full set of hardware for the fairings. and a new windscreen (the current one is blue chrome, which is pretty ricey in my opinion)

No test rides without cash in hand, bring your own gear (please bring SOME gear at least). I'm asking 3200 but make me an offer, the worst I can say is no. Texts are preferred, any time of the day is fine I'm usually up late.
