Have a 2007 STi short block with ~11,000 miles on it.

Was going to build it for my ride, but I'm going to sleeve a block now...no use disassembling a pretty much new short block.

    EJ257 B25C (704 Casting) - NO ISSUES.

Perfect for 2.5 hybrid, stock SB replacement, or to build fresh.

Please call or text Yusef at 612-275-7398

Where did this come from? A car you owned?

Currently researching all possible paths to get my legacy back up and running...

It same out of an acquaintances car in Nebraska...I drove all the way there to get it!

I have never run this short block, but it has very smooth rotation, no bearing noises, good cross hatching, and the pistons all fit very snug-ly (as they should on a stock block).

Yes, they ended up purchasing a built short block from some place online and I had first dibs on the stock block. :)

    ayup. :)

I'm considering a whole range of options right now, including potentially buying a built short block outright myself. It's going to be damn near spring before I'm back up and running at this point and finding a beater in the mean time is proving irritating. I'll stop short of saying I have enough interest to affect whether you sell it to someone else, but it's on the table for consideration.

Can you just put some aftermarket ringlands in with the stock pistons to remedy the ringland failure issue? juz curiouz

I'm not a professional engine builder, but it is my opinion that for a mid horse power application that isn't totally neccessary. However, if you are going to upgrade this is the time to drop some pistons in; especially if you want to make moar power. :)

I was just curious as the rings are the big fail point. I think the stock-ish power is perfect for me, would just like to lose the fear of failed ringlands so i had to ask.:)

MY ringlands will not fail tho...i havez tha FAITH! Someone needs to snatch this up quick for their bugeye hybrid build!!!
