Down to the wear bars and all have a bit of camber wear as well. One has a plug and patch (has held very well) They're still much better than all seasons for sure. Price- Pack of smokes??
So wait... are you saying these would last through the winter then (January - April), even though they're down to the wear bars? I'm definitely interested, but I don't want to have them mounted and then blow out a month later on my DD. Currently I'm running RE-92's with about 3-4 32nds left. So in short, if they'll easily last another couple thousand miles, I'll take 'em. I just don't know much about tire wear. :ugh:
I'll vouch for these being very decent - I threw down the second fastest time on non-studded tires at last years ice races with "bald" LM-22s. They're just scary in slush when they're that low.
Dave, I'll take them man, let me know what smokes you prefer... I will pick some up and bring them over.
Ha ha, these would be better than RE-92's for sure, but just an fyi...they may not balance perfect. Yes, last week's rally-x school proved they still had life in them. If Jamusix doesn't nab them in a couple days they are yours. (He replied first)
Hmmm... On second thought, I'm flying to CO on Wednesday and I'm pretty busy before then. I think I'll stick to my original plan of throwing some new or almost-new snows on next fall. Curly, they're yours.
thanks for passing them on man, classy of you. dave, name your poison... i remembered virginia slim lites... but...
