    Like the subject says, I am selling my '93 Legacy Touring Wagon.

    The Good:
    * EJ22T runs excellent
    * Recent Timing Belt, Cam Seals, Water Pump (ala Todd Erickson)
    * Fresh Battery
    * New brakes (+ new rear vented rotors)
    * Clean Interior
    * 3.90:1 rear diff (needed for WRX 6-speed conversions)

    The Bad:
    * The auto Tranny is failing - reverse is shot - forward gears OK.
    * Exhaust is in rough shape

    The Ugly:
    * The body has some small rust holes and small dents

    Willing to part with this vehicle in a number of ways:

    (1) You take the car as-is with new tires: $1600/BO
    ... If you have an auto tranny around, this car is a good daily driver.

    (2) I keep the rims and tires, you take the rest: $1100/BO (I prefer this)
    ... You want all the parts from this car for your project - brakes, diff, EJ22T.

    (3) I keep the rims and tires & I keep the rotors, calipers, etc: $900/BO
    ... You just want it to strip the EJ22T and rear diff. This price is pretty typical of used EJ22Ts.

    (4) I keep the rims, tires, brakes, rear diff, and engine, you take the body with interior for parts: FREE to whoever can haul it away.
    ... This is for the Legacy Turbo owner who wants a parts car or needs an interior.

    Please reply here if interested.

    Mea Culpa! You're right about the forum. I didn't see the Buy/Sell forum when I logged on; only three forums appeared. After I realized my mistake, I sent Russ a note to move me if he can.

    T-Bone, you need an EJ22T for your RS! How do those RS wheels look?

    Hey Garrett,

    I thought I heard that you sold your RS-T and bought an EVO?

    Are you going to OFR?

    Best regards,

    Paul

    Meh, the Mitsu folks were really jerking me around on pricing and information on the 2006 models. I'm pretty sure I would have thoroughly enjoyed a 286bhp MIVEC 4G63 but I decided to keep with the Subaru family and get the "grown-up" car :lol:

    I should indeed be up at OFPR with it, I'm planning on codriving for my brother running sweep. Besides, I don't think those 17s were made for gravel :shock:

    Garrett, I may be working one of the controls; are you guys car "0", "00", or "000"? Good choice on the new Legacy.

    Now back to the subject: who needs an EJ22T for their WRX or RS project? Closed deck, oil squirters, desperate for WRX or STi heads.

    If someone wants to make an offer on any part of this car, I'm open to it.

    See you guys at RallyFest.

    Get used to the lowballing Paul, that's what this club has become :roll:
    They wouldn't even shell out $8500 for my car when I was selling the turbo RS.

    BTW I won't be running fast sweep at OFPR, I'll be running in a sweep truck at the event. All the sweep vehicles need codrivers apparently so my brother didn't get to run sweep at Headwaters earlier this year. You should see us up there in the big green Dodge diesel, though I may be moving around HQ in the new car.

    I will definitely see you up there Garrett. I have four people coming with me this year so I will have to leave my STi at home. Look for us in a dark greenish grey (sage) Honda Pilot.

    As for the offer, $400 is still too low; I am currently looking at an offer for the engine and body only for $800. If it falls through, I will let you know.

    Rgds,
    Paul
