FS: 95 Impreza L AWD

I have for sale a recently repaired 95 L. I bought it damaged, have fixed the body and mechanical. Now I thought I would put it up for sale as it is, then update it as i continue to fix small things. Basically I figure someone on here might want a cheap Rally-X car or winter beater and might want to spend less money, by finishing things that I havn't yet. Meaning: the price goes up as I spend more time/money finishing it. This is up on MNSUBARU only for now. I would much rather someone on this board gets a good cheap car than some of the yahoo's on my local forum. (not you bubba, you feel free to come by and take a look).

The story:The car had front end damage. I replace the damaged body parts and mechanical. The frame recieved no damage (i had a body-guy friend put it on a rack and check). The airbags were deployed and I have yet to replace them, that is the next thing to do, because the airbag controller has to go in before the radio. I do have replacement airbags, control and the detonated sensor. It is not paint matched, but it can/will be as time goes on.

The good: only 81K on the 2.2L clock. runs and drives well. has cruise and A/C. Has a almost brand new hitch assembly. Tires are brand new winter tread. (pictures soon)Great interior condition very clean, decent exterior. Not a salvage title. Current title in hand and ready to go.

The bad:air bags are deployed, front and rear do not match color, there are some small dings, dents and scratches (pending the possibility of paint). I do not have the 93-96 grill.

I have a 97 fron end: hood,grill, blacked out headlights (or one OEM) that can be installed instead for a better look. this will change the price.

I have a full cable tranny manual swap for this car (out of my own 2.2 wagon) with 115k on the tranny and diff, only 4k on an Excedy OEM clutch. This includes tranny (4.11), driveshaft, differential (4.11), shift linkage (oem WRX Shirt throw)and bushings, pedal assembly shift boot etc. And a buyer for the Auto tranny also, lol.
This can be included or installed. This will also change the price.

I have a 2.5RS coupe spoiler that can be included for a reasonable offer.


Lastly paint. I have a "paint guy" who does all my painting, he works for $35 an hour and can paint/repair any part of the car you would like.
This changes the price.

I will be replacing the stereo with a RS CD player. and install this surround after I replace the Airbag controller.

Let me stress that the interior is CLEAN

This is the weld line where I cut and replaced the driverside front. Very strong, well aligned, half pretty.

As you can see, the body line is perfect. Everything lines up.

I have too many projects and too much side car work coming my way now that I really can't put the time i need into all of them.

I should make two things known that I forgot from the first post: The car is in Fargo, but: I hope to be able to help my friend max make it down to the cities for a Drift event on Sept 19th. I would be willing to deliver the car for a small fee (meaning the gas and a few bucks to who ever will be driving it down.

 

would it be cheaper if you kept the whole 2.2/AT drivetrain. Aka, if it were just the shell and someone came and pulled it all for you?

well, yes i guess it would have to be cheaper that way. I would rather see if i can sell the whole thing first. I really don't need two sets of ej22's with transmissions in my garage. I'm trying to simplify lol.
