98 Forester S. ~190k miles. Blown motor. I think this is a great deal for someone who has or will find an EJ25D to throw in this car and get it back on the road. Good condition inside and out. Interior is very clean for a 98 and there's no major rust. It's got heated seats and light tint on the windows. Windshield was replaced two years ago and we fixed some rust underneath it. Last year I put on all new brake parts from RockAuto - calipers, rotors, pads, etc. Tires are Goodyear Assurance TripleTred, 1 year old - not positive how many miles, but the tread is 5/16" deep still. There's an Alpine iDA-x200 deck in the dash and a set of PG RSD 6.5" components in the front doors. The trim on the tailgate needs to be snapped back into place. There is some clunking in the suspension I haven't figured out yet, nothing seems loose so I thought maybe the dampers, but it doesn't ride like the struts are blown. And lastly, the outside handle on the drivers door seems to have come disconnected inside. The handle isn't broken, but I think the linkage has come apart inside cause it won't pull the latch. $700 obo. It blue books around $3k. -$100 if you don't want the deck and the speakers, but there will be nothing put back in to replace them. $250 for just the wheels and the tires, but you must also provide a set to put back on the car. And ... if anyone's got an EJ25D to sell .. I might be interested.
