    You may want to let folks know if this is a pre-recall or post-recall unit. Not that there's any technical difference between the two other than the pre-recall ones include the can for the intake as well as the sensor element. And IIRC only the MY99 cars used the hot-film MAF, all the rest were hot-wire.

    "J"ust when I got another MAF, one shows up. I just hope that there is actually a MAF out there that's better and won't die so much.

    If you are referring to the hot-film MAF there is not. Better get one of those converter units that'll allow you to use any MAF sensor under the sun and grab one out of a 4G63 or a recent Mustang.
