Ummmm, why wouldn't this work for DBW cars? Is it a bit too deep and rubs against the firewall or something?
it is the 20.07x 7.5x 4.5, the part for the drive by wire is apswrx-tmi/06 and that is 20.5x 6.7x 4.5... so I think your right.... the only time I opened the box was to show off to my friends. I was getting the info togather to start the install in june checking to see what gaskets I need and I called aps and found it won't work for my 06' wrx.....:emo::emo::emo:
when you hold this thing you think "oh my god, I've got a real functional intercooler that could eat most others!" then you imagine puting your new intercooler in a pit with an ssac inter cooler and you think about how badly your new APS TMIC would beat on another intercooler and in your mind you can picture that poor other intercooler bleeding... dead on the ground. Then you beat your chest and say "I challange any, to try to stand against this.... my most meniceing intercooler of mine" and you pick up your embattled intercooler and hold it up with pride for all to see!!!! Then you let out an animal like ROAR!!!!!!! It will only cost you $600.00 to feel this kind of pride!
Oh I have a better idea! Send it back to the vendor you bought it from for the right part, then we can trade my STi tmic for your APS. Deal?
lolz...... I wish, I bought from a guy at wbr proformance, I think they used it to mock up some copycat peice, so uhhh you sure you like they hawk eye so much or would you think bout trading her in for a hawt 04-05'?
