I bought them from discount tire at the begining of last winter. I used them through the winter putting 4k on them. They are rated for 60k so they have a lot of life left. I paid 576.68 for them. I would like to get 400 for them, but will consider other offers. I am selling them so I can buy winter tires as I feel they will be a better choice here in the rural part of the state where plows do not get out right away. I'll vouch for these being great tires. Especially in snow and rain. I only had a problem with my old car's crap alignment wearing out the shoulders of the tire tread too soon.

Somebody tell this dumb guy(me) what the 225 and 50 stands for. I only know my factory size. 205/55/16. Whats the differ on the 225/50 and 205/55?

they are a little wider then stock with just a touch shorter sidewall. It will not effect your speedometer at all.
bill, I'll bump ya. Great price on a REALLY nice set of tires. These supply more than enough traction in all weather conditions than anyone in MPLS needs. A good set of winters will be a good investment up there in no mans land!
it's not sidewall height, it is aspect ratio...there is a huge difference. A 35 Aspect Ratio on a 225 tire is going to be smaller than a 35 aspect ratio on a 255 tire. The Aspect ratio is the ratio of sidewall height to the overall tread width which is your first number.
Rims come with? Interested in a trade of sorts? I have a set of stock WRX rims with a set of good shape tires on it.
