    SOLD: BU-353 USB GPS Reciever

    -BU-353 Waterproof WAAS enabled USB GPS, SiRF Star III chipset (New in box) SOLD!!

    This is a high end waterproof magnetic mount GPS reciever from USGlobalSat. I purchased two for a redunt setup for my carputer, but have decided against it. The unit has never been removed from the box, comes complete with software, mounting suction cup, and reciever.

    This unit will work with any PC based GPS program, and is one of the best out on the market. Totally waterproof.

    Are you planning on buying it tonight? And no I won't have my system. My car's in the shop right now, so the carputer is along with it.

    is this unit better then my rikiline 6010 unit? is it worth the xtra money?

    I actually sold it tonight, sorry.

    I haven't had any experience with that unit, but after the four GPS recievers I've used, IMHO this one is by far the best. Here are the listed acquisition times:

    Reacquisition: 0.1 sec., average
    Hot start: 1 sec., average
    Warm start: 38 sec., average
    Cold start: 42 sec., average

    It's also based of the latest GPS chipset (SiRF Star III), and is by far the most accurate one that I've used.
