For sale is my 1997 Subaru Legacy GT all-wheel-drive wagon. It has an automatic transmission and pretty much every option of the year. The car has 170,000 miles on it and I'm the 3rd owner. The car has a clean title can has not been in any accidents per CarFax. I own the car outright. I bought the car a few months ago with bad head gaskets. It was my intention to fix the head gaskets and use the car in the winter. However, since starting a new job and moving into my own house, I simply don't have time to fix it. If you're mechanically inclined and have a weekend free, you can replace the head gaskets, water pump, tensioners, and timing belt for less than $400. The brakes also need replacing so factor another $100 for those. The car is worth a lot more fixed, so if you're inclined you could turn around and sell it for profit. Otherwise, you've got a great AWD daily driver. The tires appear almost new. The interior is actually very, very clean. I was impressed. There is NO rust behind the wheel wells and other than the door no rust on the car as far as I can see. As it is the car runs and drives but it will probably overheat if driven more than 15 miles. The car is located in DULUTH and is available for short test drives. My price is for cash only - I'm not interested in trades right now. If I don't get want I want for it, I will find some time to fix it.
