FS-ej205 longblock from '04 wrx

Hi, I am selling my stock ej205 longblock with 27k original miles on it from my '04 wrx. With all stock internals. One broken cam gear. Looking for around $800. I will part out the heads for $400. I could also polish it all up, if anyone would like. for some sexyness:yumyum:

If its a "long block" Wouldn't that include the heads???

 

I think he meant, he's willing to seperate the head from the longblock and sell that alone.

Sorry guys for a VERY noob question, but I was wondering if you could explain what a long block is and how it differs from the motor in my 03 wrx. Sorry again, for the noob question.

 

it does not differ from it in any way, a long block would be a subaru engine (or any engine) that comes WITH heads.

was this engine run bone stock, or moded with bigger turbo, or pushed harder than stock tune, if so what was it running, i.e. parts and hp/tq output, also how did the cam gear break? was it running when this happened? now i forget, its the 2.0 right? thanks for patience with so many ?s might have a donor L for this motor. thanks

 

It's been stock all of its 27k miles. Yes, its the ej205 2L out of the '04 wrx. The cam gear broke while trying to remove it without the timing belt. Can be easily replaced. thanks
