Hi all, Here goes my block for sale. It has CP pistons, forged STi crank and eagle rods. I bought this from local member already assembled but sold my car and don't need this anymore. This will come with extra set of piston rings, all needed gaskets for install, ARP studs and Covert oil pick up. I want $1700 for everything firm. ****All right, it looks like I will split gasket kit, headstuds and oil pick up and sell them separate. So the price for just short block and rings is $1500 now. Found out more information about this short block. It was assembled by devildevil and it has ACL race main and rod bearings, eagle rods, cp forged pistons and sti crank.

Someone pick this thing up, it's a steal as my brand new 2.5 shortblock with stock internals from Morries was $1700! Built internals ftw bump!
I wish I knew more about the history of this. It has the stock bore 99.5 pistons in it. Is it an EJ257/EJ255? Did the engine suffer from failure before? What kind of main bearings does it have? All questions I would love answered. If we can figure it out then I'll buy it from you Monday as this is a great deal.
Stock bore ej257. It has ACL race main bearings. I am not sure if this block had any issues I will have to talk to original owner and will let you know later. At this time I don't think it had any failures prior to build.
Sounds good, as long as there's not any scoring on the cylinder walls that's cool. Where are you located?

Well I am back for sale. They guy I sent the block to backed out, he told me that the block was no good for him. He took it apart and now I am back with a new price $1000. This is sold as is and you are welcome to come take a look before purchase but it's all in peaces. I have ej257 halves that look good with smooth piston walls, assembled sti crank with eagle rods. I also have cp pistons that might need to be replaced, I don't know there are some scratches on top of them. I have a set of new rings, rod and main bearings. $1000 for everything I need this gone soon.
His mechanic said it was bad but none of the walls are scuffed. I think pistons are bad the crank, rods and halves are good. Main bearings are bad as what he said. I don't know much about internals so I don't know but it looks ok to me.
