FS: ej251 longblock partout or take the whole shebang!

Hey I have for sale is an ej251 that started knocking so I pulled it and replaced with another. Looking to get 200 obo. Or if you want something just let me know.

As of right now the motor is sitting complete in my garage.

Pictures will be up tomorrow when I get comcast back up.

Give me an offer and I may just take it apart. Or take the whole thing and part off everything else yourself. I need room in my garage for my new project. Lol

what car did it come out of? how many miles? how long was it knocking before you replaced it?

 

Oh yeah forgot that part. Lol

Came off a 2001 rs with 129xxx on the odo. Sad part was I don't know when it knocked. I wasn't driving it but I told my Sis-in-law to shut it off immediately when she called me. And never started it up since.

Must have been at least a 1/4 - 1/2 mile before she turned it off.

 

so it started knock the day your sis drove it? and haven't been restarted ever since?

 

Yep! I had to drive a mini van for the longest time until I found another replacement. It'll start just will knock quite load. But I that was over a year ago. Don't know about it starting up again.

 

Bump need it out to make room for parts that I've acquired lately.
