    I am thinking about doing a 6spd tranny swap. So i was just wondering if anyone was interested in buying my 5spd tranny and drivetrain. It is out of a 1999 rs and only has 55000 miles a new spec stage 2 clutch. Just let me know what you all think.
    Thanks

    I was thinking some where around $1000-$1500. But that includes the driveshaft, rear diff, and axles, and whatever else i don't need after the swap. I just looked everything on car-part.com and came up with that price.

    ok,
    tranny = 500
    each driveshaft = 30
    rear diff = 100
    each control arm = 10
    clutch = 100

    so 800 for everything.

    I'd say $500 would be a good price for everything. Just for comparison, I paid $400 for a 5speed with clutch, Flywheel, starter, driveshaft, rear diff, axles, shift linkage and pedal assembly.

    Yeah its gonna be hard for you to get alot more for it since you can't sell it with any type of warranty of any sort. I picked up a 97 LGT trans for $300 with a 3 month warranty on it and about 60k milles. But good luck with the sale!!
