fs/ft: my GC coupe

I want a bugeye!
Its a Texas car, that has only been in Dallas(no moisture as compared to Houston,etc)
I bought it in mid OCT and brought it to WI. It had tranny problems(120k) and just bought a new tranny a month ago, with new everything. 5 speed.
Whole car was looked at bumper to bumper.
1 problem and 1 upcoming repair:
1. Bushings in the steering joints are dry-this just shows you how much it lacked moisture.
2. Starter is acting up- stays on for 1 second max after car is started. I was told that within 20k I will need a new one.
I cannot stress enough that this car has NO RUST! Only been in the saltless backroads snow a few times, then carwashed like crazy,the body is great for a 8 year old car.
There is a little dent (kid shot it with a BB gun) on the pass fender. HARD TO SEE.
couple of scratches, but all are not visible because of the color.
Little rock chips on the hood and bumper, nothing unusual.
I debadged the trunk, and the 2.5RS emblem took some paint with it! This is not too eye catching, and I can repaint it for a low price.

Mods:
Made a cai out of a DSM intake. No CEL, all tubes working
WRX wheels. NICE! mineral grey powdercoated.
Antenna delete with IMPREZA aluminum piece.
JDM carbon fiber center console! Very hard to find.
Megan racing muffler, humble at idle, nice loud tone at WOT. No problems with cops. Comes with a silencer too.
I will give all stock parts.
This car can make it anywhere, everything is in tip top shape.

I want a 2002-2003 WRX that has a clean title and some mods. I love these cars!

for me now, 4 doors and a bigger trunk and a safer rating is more important. Oh, and I guess the turbo.:biggrin:

If I had the money to trade up to a blobeye wagon then I would. I think bugeye wagons look silly.

 

Yeah, I have to agree with that. I actually prefer the sedan flavor for the bugeyes. Otherwise, it's all wagon for me.
