Posting here to see if anyone can help me get a price for this thing. It's in storage currently, probably wouldn't be ready to sell until May or June. 1964 Ford Galaxie 4 Door Automatic, 352 5.8L V8, 4bbl. Runs and drives. I drove it without issue from International Falls to the Twin Cities a couple years ago. Clean title in hand. New tires. Extra set of nice wire spokes. New PS hoses, but I think it still kinda leaks. Known issue for PS on these. Body isn't perfect, but not the worst. Rattle can "hammered" paint job, actually doesn't look bad from 10'. Good chrome. Interior is not too bad. Carpet ripped/discolored in some spots. Drivers side of front bench seat is ripped (I have had a cover over it). Added a new aftermarket headunit (that looks retro), some Pioneer 5-way 6x9's and a 1600W 4 channel amp mounted away in the trunk. All done right. Sound bumps. Good weekend cruising car. Would take it to Hastings on weekends. Pics from a couple years ago: https://imgur.com/gallery/iSdls Not really sure what it's worth, I'm gonna start with $5,000. But want to see what people think.
It’s a four door hardtop correct? All 4 windows roll down with no post in between? How is the undercarriage and body as far as rust goes? Mileage? Trying to help here!
There is a post between, but yes all four windows roll down. I'll have to get some undercarriage pics, but it's not bad as far as I can remember. Miles is tough too, I think the ODO only shows 5 digits, So either like 68k, or 168k, or 268k...
Nice! One of my favorite old American cars. I'm overseas now but potentially interested, should be home sometime in August.
Yep! I'm also not currently in MN. Will you still be back in August? I should be in MN at some point soon, hopefully within the next month or two, and will take underside pics then, and update this thread.
