Current miles are 94XXX it's my daily driver right now so it'll be going up slowly. I've really enjoyed this car besides its setbacks that I've had.

Even though its very hard for me to do this, but I've got another car on my mind and something more piratical in general, and I want to get into something more stock and a bit more comfortable.

I had cylinder #4 go on me the 2nd day of owning it. Got a built shortblock through 4drcivicmaster on MNsubaru. Along side that I had a new fuel pump put in and modified the fuel filter (03 wrx) to be inside of the engine bay (nukes idea). The gentleman that did the work rebuilt the heads and had them fully cleaned up. The car is located in St. Joseph MN.

    I'm asking for $17,000.

    Modifications to car:

Fully built short block by NF performance “Fuji”
    a. Wiseco 100mm Pistons
    b. Manley H beam Rods
    c. Map Head Studs
    d. OEM water pump / oil pump
    e. ACL bearings
    f. Covert oil pickup
    g. Gates Racing Timing Belt link
    h. Subaru OEM STi EJ257 Master Gasket Set link

    Forge bypass valve
    CSS front mount intercooler
    Perrin air filter
    AVO turbo inlet
    deatschwerks dw300 series fuel pump
    v-limited Sti replica lip

Well, It's me finding what I like in general. The wife has some of the input though. I'm leaning towards a SUV or Chevy avalanche. But I do have my mind on a newer WRX Hatch.

After reassembly and new rings just around 8,000 on the "rebuild" but I can't be for certain on the block itself. These are the miles I have put on sense the issue happened. Pretty much everything that was done was replaced with new parts like pulleys, water pump, timing belt etc. Sense everything was out.

I would have to look into it more for the shortblock to get the estimated miles from the previous owner.

piratical - One who robs at sea or plunders the land from the sea without commission from a sovereign nation.

So I assume you want something with cannons as to more piratical. Didn't know the Avalanche's were equipped that way. Must be a trim I haven't seen before. GLWS.

    Buy it Drocnoc.

In regards to the under-carage, its pretty good i'd say, I never have taken a look with microscope, but I've been constantly washing it throughout winter. Its pretty damn clean from my car washes that I get regularly.

For being almost a 10 year old car, the interior is really good. their are some random spots though with some stains / and there is a cigarette burn in the back seat, but this was from previous owner. I never let anyone smoke or eat in this car.

    Thanks.

Let me ask MNSubaru this question. The value of your car equal how much you owe on it right?

No, you can owe more or less than your cars value.

Value and what you owe on it are completely unrelated.

I get irate and angry when people inquire about selling my car by asking how much I owe on the loan. Some people I think that everyone selling a car must assume its to get rid because you cant afford it or, think that it's the value. And because you won't tell them they think it's worth less than your asking.

The dealers like to play that game to see how much they can low ball you on a trade in.

Yeah, it's really none of their business how much you owe on it. That has no bearing on the value of the car.

The only justifiable reason that I know of to inquire is if they might want to have you sign the loan over to them.

Gonna completely agree with Sneefy. Other than what he said, nobody needs to know what you owe. That's your own personal business.

I have asked the same question to assume the loan amount and to pay cash for the rest of the agreed sale amount. In the cleanest one hundred dollar bills I can find of course.

So if you don't owe anything on it, does that make it free?

As mentioned, makes sense in the scenario where the buyer wants to assume your loan.

Sure, free is good. Like buy the car and I'll throw in the oil that is in the engine for free. I'm just saying I have asked the same question (two different cars now) for that exact reason. Actually my wife asked me and then I asked the sellers who took no offense at me asking that question. Of course I tried to low ball a bit...but that is the nature of a private sale.

The only reason I would ever ask is to make sure there wouldn't be any issues when trying to get the title if a lien/loan still on it. But then again you should contact their bank before going any further because the bank would need the pay off money first. Sorry for the thread jack, but a free bump none the less. I'm surprised that this car has not sold yet. Ready for any turbo people!
