Details: First off, this car is running perfectly with a < 1.5 -year-old built motor. I purchased this car in Omaha, Nebraska August of 2013 w/86,000 miles and drove it until that December when the banjo filters wound up plugged and motor gave out. The previous owner had the car for a very short period of time and didn’t maintain the motor as it needed to be. When this happened, I had the motor rebuilt in Minneapolis, MN by NF Performance. Here they tore the whole motor down and rebuilt it from the ground up – this was around 94k on the body. Since, the motor (and car) has been running absolutely solid. I moved to California this past September and drove it over the course of two days without even the slightest hiccup. I’m drove back from California to Minnesota earlier this month, and just like the trip out there, not even the slightest hiccup. Overall amazing car, that I’d hate to see go, but need to get into something a little bigger (FXT).

Oil has been changed every 3000-3500 miles w/Rotella T6 – religiously. Since in my ownership I have taken immaculate care of the car maintaining everything to the utmost extent.

Disclaimer: there are some dents here and there on the car – as expected for a now 10-year-old car. There is one on the driver’s side door that is much more noticeable – looks like someone door dinged it bad prior to my ownership (see photos). The first owner had repairs done to the front end shortly after purchasing it – I don’t have all the details on what happened, but it was never totaled (clean title).

Already thought of something that needs to be added: the power lock on the front passenger door doesn't work. Failed a few months back and rarely have passengers so it doesn't bother me. If you have passengers, you just need to manually unlock the door from inside.

Forgot a couple things here.. DW65c FP will come with the purchase. Never was installed, but will be included. A set of four all-weather mats and RA mudflaps will be included as well. The mudflaps are the generic ones (came with purchase) and never were drilled for the car.

Oil was changed yesterday (October 11) with Rotella T-6.

Car is back from NF with a new(er) top mount and the DW65c FP installed. Also got a fresh tune and is running great. Back up for sale / trade (09 FXT)

Back from the dead. Fresh oil change done 3/1, new cylinder 2 injector 3/2, all new plugs done 11/30/15.

Car just got back from the shop (misfire was caused by a bad injector - hence the new one). They gave it a clean bill of health and she's running strong again. Just looking to get into something a little bigger - preferably an 08+ Forester NA or XT + cash on my end.

New price set to $11,500 obo. Very motivated as I've already got my eyes on an FXT. Any questions, feel free to post or PM. I'll respond as promptly as I can.

 

Ooops.. and since it's been so long - an update mileage on the odometer is 124,400 - NF motor ~28,500 miles. It'll continue to go up ever so slightly as my drive to work is about 5 miles/day.
