This is an EBay peice, not sure of the brand, I bought it quite a while ago for my 2004 WRX, wrapped it and used the spray sealer on it. Will come with the turbo side gasket, the other one was lost when we moved.

$40 obo ALSO will trade for an STi catless UP

I am selling this one, and wanting to buy one that is closer to stock diameter. So to answer your question: Yes.

Just curious -- why do you want one that's closer to stock diameter? I have a bigger one that I'll probably be installing next week and I want to make sure I'm not making a huge mistake...

my guess with closer to stock u will hit boost faster but u will have a lower airflow. with a bigger one u will hit boost later(nomore that 300rpm later im guessing) but will have more airflow.
for me a closer to stock is good for dd hit boost fater for going around cars. for track/rally i would want a bigger one cause u are allready in the high rpms and i want better airflow when racing.

ps. feel free to tell me im wrong if u think so and y

That was my thinking, this is just my daily driver and the Auto trans has enough of a lag to it, so I wanted something that would react lighting quick.

How would having a smaller diameter uppipe make the turbo hit boost faster? And is it faster as in response or faster as in lower rpms? Does it have to do with there being less volume to build up pressure to spin the turbo or does it act like a nozzle? Those are my only guesses and I can't see them making that much of a difference.

Also I'm interested in getting this if it's still for sale in 2 weeks when I come home.
