IBM Thinkpads have a reputation for being well-built and tough--this one is no exception. The best thing about this laptop is it has a built-in keyboard light for use at night. It is old but I have upgraded it extensively so it is still usable. Great for web browsing or as a second computer for around the house. The speakers are pretty loud too so it's not too bad to listen to MP3s with. It also includes an IBM Docking station that allows you to set it up on your desk and have access to extra ports very conveniently and without having to unplug everything every time you move.
