Are you going to possibly part it out? cause if so I may be interested in the ram if its at least 1600mhz.

No, it's not an old Subaru. I'm not parting it out.

Just an FYI. If you want a screaming fast desktop PC, buy this without the hard drive. Pick up a solid state drive. You won't regret it. This thing benchmarks almost as fast as my 2nd gen i7 with similar specs. It would outperform the i7 with an SSD.

you know what, do you have a link to the case? I might know someone that may be looking for a good HTPC build(along with some gaming unfortunately only 1 pci-e slot). and it out performs a sandy bridge i7?

Oh yes on everything except the onboard video. It would be considered low performance. You can get a different card (assuming low profile). I'm sure it would be fine.

Yeah. The only problem is I know nothing about computers. The one thing I do know is to NEVER buy a computer from Best Buy ever again,

Not going to lie. I'm tempted to pick this up for an esxi server. Or tempted to take the place of the htpc.

Kinda mis-leading...the cpu might be ivy bridge, but the listed motherboard is the old sandy bridge chipset.

You could build the same thing brand new for about the same price....

That's new to me. This is what they put in the cart for me at Microcenter. And no, you can't build it for that price. I just checked, $428 after tax.
