I am offering my services to make MNSubarus a little better looking. For the time being I will offer two different services.

    Interior lighting color change:

I can do radios, HVAC, Cruise/Fog switches, gauge clusters, boost gauges, and window switches in red. Other colors can be done by request, but will take time to order materials. I have done the Trunk Monkey method, but was very unhappy with the hotspotting it produced, which is why I am determined to work with LED's for the gauges now. Also, I would gladly show off my car as it is if anyone would like to see it in person.

EDIT: For the time being I am offering to do blue for Gauge clusters and switches ONLY. I know that it can be done for everything else, but right now I need to reverse engineer the radio light bulbs to retrofit LED's in their place. Once I can do that reliably, I will offer blue for full interior. Depending on what is involved, I may need to charge extra for bulb retrofitting.

--Full dash conversion (Prices includes materials and labor):
    02-04: $100
    05-07: $150

    PM me for breakdown pricing.

NOTE:I will require that you pay for materials in advance before I order them. After that it usually takes a week to get the product in.

    Headlight Painting:

This is fairly simple to explain, I can paint the chrome bezel inside your headlights! Make your bugeye lose the perpetual look of shock! For the other headlight designs, make them look cooler still! The bezels can be painted in different colors, you have to pick what kind. I use spray paint, so unfortunately, I cannot body match. In the future, I might be able to get that figured out.

    --Headlight Bezel painting:
02-05: $60/pair and possibly a meal (drying time takes a while)
    06-07: $75

Disclaimer: Modifying your car in these manners will void warranties and be NON-REVERSIBLE (Just short of buying new parts). Make sure you want to do so before committing. Also, continue paying no attention to the green clock, I'm still working on it, but I've gotten to something of a beta phase.

    My schedule:
Here's my schedule of open days for those to plan. I will only do this month-by-month for the time being.

    02.09: Open
    02.10: Open
    02.16: wrexinator03
    02.17: Personal
    02.23: idget/pksublime/stypert10
    02.24: idget/pksublime/stypert10

I have a full batch of LED's on the way. Let me know. If you (or anyone) likes, I can show you what the gauges look like with the red conversion before LED's at Firestone this Friday. Also, I can show you the bugeye headlight mod (Or you could look at the October Car of the Month thread [shameless plug])

Can you do amber conversion? Also any warranty on the bulb if they burn out?

1: Define "Amber". Do you mean the "Mad JDM Amber but really a red color amber" or a gold amber color?

2: I work with the bulbs in the car already (for red, other colors will likely need LED conversion), so if they look flaky you may want to purchase new ones. Concerning warranty though, I will use LED's in the gauge cluster with appropriate resistors, so they should be able to last for as long as you own the car (in theory). At this point I guess I would say 30 days for a warranty concerning quality of workmanship. I'll look into this and edit my original post when I can decide on it. (I'm not much of a businessman)

Lamco(stock) three gauge clock replacement? I've got the pod w/gauges and wondered about the green color on those going away also.

I'll have to take a look at it first. If I recall, you were looking for blue, which I will need some time to perfect for gauges or switches. If I can take a look at your setup, it will give me an idea.

That's the red? I'll assume it looks better in person and it's just a trick of the [IMG]from long exposure time...

I just took the pictures quickly, but to be honest I've found my girlfriend's Sony camera to be extremely disappointing. I believe they look much better in person. One thing to point out how bad the color scale is, my needles are factory yellow. Like, YELLOW. In what way should yellow end up looking orange?

On a side rant, I used the same camera to take pictures of my black car and they were extremely blurry. Back onto something relevant though, I have edited my original post concerning blue/purple conversion/retrofits.

You may want to talk to 02BluBru(Bill). He did his interior w/ all blue and it turned out really nice. He gave me the link, but I hate electrical work...would rather pay someone else to do it.;)

these gauges are really easy to convert. you just pull the bulb out of the back and plug in your replacement. i did my boost guage and it works well.

I may eventually be intersted. I tried repalcing all the bulbs with blue Leds (110*) and all i had were hots. since then i changed them to blue coated bulbs which faded and dont produce anywhere near as much light. could you make the L cluster look good with blue?

Blue headlights? Yes, but for the time being it will be spray paint. So if we can find some that matches the shade of blue you want, we can do that. I won't be able to body match WRB right now, though.

I'm located in Rochester. It's about 80 miles south of the Twin Cities on Hwy 52. Also, I have some new stock for gauge cluster change coming in on Friday.
