Actually yes and no. I have stock STI pivot bushings that fit and also brand new TIC union joint shift linkage bushings. Also have new and used Kartboy front and rear shift bushings. pm me for details.
The spring inside the roflbov is quite long. You could probably cut a couple of coils off without any problem to adjust the tension and travel.
Will you be at FS Friday? Also Sheen/Lee is this plug and play, if I brought tools could it be put on pretty easily? Lee I'll bring t3h gauge for you to look at also.
Yes it's plug and play. You'll need to bring a 12mm socket, philips head screwdriver, and a pair of pliers. You'll probably want to bring something to plug the bpv return hose with... apparently duct tape works for that:laugh:. A new bpv gasket wouldn't hurt either, but its not entirely necessary... actually, I think I have one I can bring just in case. I'll throw some M1 synthetic grease on it, but that'll only last so long and you'll want to eventually weaken the spring tension to keep it from surging all the time. I'm thinking heating it up or possibly cutting 1 coil would do it. All I know is that it sounds surprisingly good.
Are you talking about the allen bolts on top? Those just let you rotate the assembly so you can angle the horn to face whatever direction... I'd suggest flat towards the DS fender or tilted up towards the hoodscoop for maximum pshh pshhh... don't mind the inevitable condensation build up.
Oh, if yr talking about the bpv return line, it's somewhere in the 25-30mm range. I probably have something in the the garage you could use as a plug. edit: lol, I'm slow.
The stock bpv vents air back into the turbo inlet. There is a hose that runs fromt the inlet, behind the throttle body, under the Tb hose, and up to the stock bpv. Since this one blows off the air to atmosphere, there is no flange that connects to the stock bpv return hose. The bpv return hose will be sitting open, so it's best to plug it up or tape it off. Also, no screwdriver needed.
THIS! And Sheen, I am also interested in the Short Throw. Let me know if it ends up being available again.
just cause Tom doesn't like Perrin doesn't mean all they make is crap. Yeah Flatline I will be picking it up Friday if I don't like it (which would be within a week of purchase) your first in line to buy it off me.
Buyer's planning to pick it up early May. If it falls through it'll be back up for sale after May 4th and I'll let you know.
