I have an LG Prada, that i took from my mom. I intended to give to my gf, but it has a hard time getting signal in the suburbs cause its a triband phone and is missing 850mhz. I will work fine around the city tho. I know this is a long shot and is probably even worthless to post, but who knows. Let me know if you are interested in it. Its in good condition and comes with the box and all the crap.
yeah something like 250-230 is what I will take for it. Again it will most likely not work in suburbs where the towers are spread out.
keep in mind that that shouldn't really be a problem for tmobile users because: a) tmobile just has better coverage than at&t in the twin cities and b) they're on 1900 Mhz anyway
1900 MHz is tmobile's primary frequency band but it utilizes both frequency bands in the US. If 1900 MHz is available it will use that over 850 MHz. When 850 MHz is the only frequency available it will use that for digital roaming.
At&t's primary band is 850 MHz and will use that over 1900 MHz when available. When 1900 MHz is available without 850 MHz, it will use 1900 MHz for roaming. They all have partnerships with each other because it's cheaper to pay to use another networks than it is to build new towers right next to existing towers. But if they have even a hint of their own signal, they'll use that over their competitors because it's cheaper for them. It just so happens that t-mobile has better coverage in the twin cities with 1900 MHz. If this were the west coast it would be a different story (850 MHz is king out there) and the phone would probably be complete crap. I actually have a really good friend who has this phone and he's on t-mobile with zero coverage issues.
Thanks Bummpy. Bump for the phone will sell for 250 or so with all the crap it comes with 250mb card included. Its touchscreen btw, just like the iphone and you can tell everyone that you are super cool because you have a Prada Phone! LOL
I follow that, but.... The fact remains that both use the 1900 and 850MHz bands. If the phone doesn't work on 850, it won't work on either provider if the 1900 isn't available. Obviously, if Taras had issues with the 1900 being available switching to T-Mobile will not help as you pointed out yourself (they all have paternerships). I don't buy that T-Mobile has better 1900 coverage since the LG would pick that if the 850 AT&T signal wasn't available....
I follow what you're saying. In that case, I'm not really sure why you'd have reception issues in the burbs taras. Like I said though, my friend has this phone with no issues on tmobile.
I have paypal yes. The phone is in very good condition. It does have a few lines going from the top to bottom of the screen because its plastic and when you pull it in or out of its case it gets a bit scratched. However the scratches are very minimal and can be easily removed with a plolish like they use for iPods. I will try to post pics of it in a bit.
Sorry which phone you are taking about? Both are in good conditin anyway. Slvr I think gas no scratches.
bump! still for sale 200 and it's yours. Will ship and will take paypal but you will have to pay for the paypal fee. The phone comes with a case and headphones and the box. Will trade for rims that will fit a Miata 4x100.

No I'm not going to be in the twin cities. I assume you'll ship it to me in Willmar. Now that I'm paying the shipping fee. Payment sent. Also is everything 100% working? I forgot to ask -_-; Pm'd my addy.
