i'll take this... 1) header - 16k miles 2) uppipe (catless from factory, not gutted) - 16k miles 3) td04 turbo - 10k miles
3" flat flanged. O2 sensor and cat are relocated further downstream. Nice piece but I have the maddad test pipe now to replace it. Sway bar is stock size. I think 18mm? Ill check.
I don't think either will work for me (know the cat won't, I don't think the sway bar will either now that I think about it). Sorry.
Is there a difference??? 06 vs 02-05?? how about vs 02-03? i didn't think that there was but if there is plz educate me on the differece.
^different oil filter location on the 2.5vs2.0. I believe the stock crossover pipe is a bit straighter on the 06 wrx also (forrester also, and probably others). Most aftermarket headers work for all GDs since the mating locations from block to header and haeder to uppipe are the same.
^stole it off Ray's car... no, I used it with my stromung shorty before I got the hi-flow... you know.. the 06 cat is mad jdm length yo
Yeah, there's a difference. As a whole unit, you can interchange any year WRX manifold. However on the '06-07 WRX, the individual manifold collectors and crosspipe are different from the 2.0L cars. It looks like the new collector will flow better than the 2.0 one due to a straighter path design. However, the crosspipe seems to be smaller in diameter than on the 2.0L. So I think a good setup would be pnp'd '06 collectors and then a custom crosspipe. Justin and I verified this a few months after I got my car.
