These cars need to go too! I will be parting them out this week. Complete cars run great. Has a 1.8L MPFI. Interior is in very good shape but body is TOAST. Let me know what you need. Also will be parting out the XT6 but I will be keeping the drivetrain and a few select parts for myself. Both are silver color. The XT6 has a working air suspension and steering system! UPDATE! 10/08-----XT6 AWD stripping started! The drivers door and fender are rust free. Did not look at them close till Mon. night and they must have been replaced before it was parked! The Pass. door (rusty bottom) could be salvaged by a good bodyman (which I R) but would take some work. Hood has a couple easy fix dents in the center area. Trunk lid is real nice. Bumper covers are good. Interior pieces are in great condition. I put the front seats in my wagon, but I could be talked out of them. I am concentrating on stripping this car nights this week and will look at the condition of pieces and set prices after it is stripped. I will post updates as I progress. UPDATE! 10/10-----My hunchback was right the DR. side fender still has the part # stickers on the back and there is no rust anywhere, which makes me 'tink the door is a new unit as well! I have both HDLMP. Assy.'s removed, fog lights, power steering unit with the proverbial "liquid gold" fluid still in it, wiper assy. less the tranny (already spoken for through PM). These cars are COMPLTE so if there is any little part you need let me know. The XT6 engine will only be sold as a complete running unit. I'd be interested in 5-lug swap parts from the XT6 (rear hubs/rotors/backing plates/calipers and front control arms). also possibly sway bars and rear trailing arms (assuming 4WD). maybe seats..... any chance on a 3.9 LSD in the '6?
The hubs, backing plates, and rotors are gone, but the rest is still available. Make me an offer on whatever parts you want. Its a 3.7 rear, not sure if its and LSD, just says the ratio and part # on the tag.
then it's not an LSD.... 3.7?!...oh.....automatic. blah well, the sway bars/rear trailing arms would not be for me. I shall consult he who will be getting that car (Saabaru? you see this? sweet upgrade that will make your car not handle like a wet noodle!) do either of them (preferably the 4-cyl one....not sure if the '6 got a different system) have variable speed intermittent wipers?
To tell the truth, I R not sure about variable speed wipers. Will let you know tonight. Seems like I vaguely remember the XT gots them. The sway bars and trailing arms are yet available. Parts requests are coming in fast though!
