UPDATE: XBOX 360 is SOLD! I bought my PS3 about a month ago... since it's over 30 days I can't return it. I have not even taken it out of the box yet. It's still boxed up and spankin brand new. I never got around to play it since I do not have any games for the PS3. I'm also selling my 3 month old Xbox 360 Premium for $400. and that includes 3 games (Gears of War, Saints Row and Perfect Dark Zero) plus 2 batteries with chargers and additional power supply fan to help cool the system cause they do run hot. Since I'm in a situation where I need to get rid of some assets I will be selling it for $600 even. The only benefit you'll get out of it is not having to pay the $42 tax on the PS3. The advantage you'll get with the Xbox 360 is the extra games and batteries with charger and the power supply fan. If you know anyone in the market for the top of the line PS3 and/or Xbox 360 Premium, please let me know or share this info. Again, I do not have any games for the PS3 just the system.

Yes you are correct. PS3 $600 brand new (no games) Xbox 360 $400 w/ 3 games and extra batteries, chargers and power supply fan.
