It's official, I'm too much of a lazy asshole to swap my tires each morning at 6:30am before a day of autox. Anyway, I have a set of 4 clean BBS wheels off my 06 sti that currently have Kuhmo V710 slicks mounted up. I've very willing to separate the wheels and tires for reasonable offers. This setup is a blast and I wish I could keep it around for fun, but it's a matter of limited storage space. Figured I'd give you guys a shot at them before I move on to mnautox and the scca forums. I bought these tires new last winter, used them for a total of 14 runs, or around 12min of driving time. They're worn very evenly and anyone that knows r-comps knows that they heat-cycle out, long before their tread gets too low to drive on. They're 225/45r17 and once they're warm, they're very, very sticky and are very sharp and responsive (nothing like the big, sloppy 255 RS-3's that I daily on). For reference, these tires would run you around $230/ea at tirerack. This is an excellent way to try R-comps without blowing $1000 plus mounting on a set. They have been properly cared for and stored in a dry, dark, temperature controlled spaced since new. The tires were properly heat-cycled prior to running autox events. I'll get some current pictures up tonight. Looking for $550 on the wheels and $490 on the tires or $950 for the set.
I don't think I'm ready for r-comps yet, otherwise I'd scoop them up. glws and hope to see you at some autox's this summer!
Still have these and desperately need to get back down below my wheel/tire quota. Let me know if you have questions or want to check them out!
