The kit I have for sale came in a red case (not gray). As always, Snap-On tools have a lifetime warranty. I purchased this kit at the same time I also bought the GiroDisc brake tool. Two $220 brake tools exceeds my brake tool budget. I would have returned it to my rep, but he up and retired on me. Since I didn't want to start off with the new rep by returning something, I decided to offer it for private sale. It's in excellent condition and can be used on a wide variety of vehicles. New price is $220. As Snap-On doesn't discount (ever) I think $175 is extremely fair.

Who are you? Where are you located? Not generally a good idea to make your very first post on a board a FS thread. People want to know who you are and know that you can be trusted. Do you have someone that is a member here that knows you? That would be great to know so we know you are legit.

I am a tech and have never used one of those in 3 yrs.... too bad you bought 2 at once....

If there's one thing I love, it's stirring things up a bit. Life's to short to play it safe. Getting this kind of reaction already goes to show that in spite of our (different) Ricer choices, I like you guys (and ladies especially) already.
Yes, there are many tool choices when it comes to brake work. Many of the choices are considerably cheaper than what I have for sale. If you work on your car a lot (I’ve done 5 sets of front pads, 2 rears this season), tool quality starts to become obvious. I don't care what anyone says; Snap-On tools (and the people who stand behind them) are unmatched in the business. If you’re looking for the best, this is what you want.

yes you do for the bigger more in depth stuff.. again I ran and worked in an auto business / shop for the last 3 yrs, am now tooling at a Ford Dealership... using the same "****ty" tools Ihave for 4 yrs... not broken one of them... and saved $200... h a ha

there are just some tools that you need to buy the good stuff... but why buy snap-on when you can get the same thing through crafstmen for half the price with the same warranty... my 0.02c .... nothing towards the original poster...

besides... in 4 yrs I have had to use that similar tool maybe 3 times and 2 of those 3 times were on the same damn day and I was wishing I had that exact tool not my cheaper one ;) (it kept slipping and grazing my knuckles ha ha)

I set my whol tool box up with enough tools (more then enough) to be a B grade tech and used them no worries for over 3 yrs now for less then $2500 toolbox included... my old tech spent $5000+ just for his toolbox..... and we have pretty much the same tools...

    sorry to hijack...

I would say trade it back to the new salesmen and get something else you can use...
