Damn, that's a great deal! I had a bad experience with a similar model a couple years ago, but I've always heard good things about the vaio's. Is there a current warranty?
Yeah its under warranty until October of 08'. This computer absolutely rocks, but I'm graduating and won't need a laptop anymore so someone pick this up!
Is this similar to the teeny tiny Vaio in the UofM bookstore? If so I am so pushing my wife to let me buy it.
No idea, I never go to the Bookstore. It's 13.3" so its a decent sized screen, and it only weighs 3.9lbs, less than most textbooks. It's been pretty damn portable.
What is the current price atm, my Dad is interested in this. I have worked on laptops and desktops in the past, these do have their fair share of problems (just luck of the draw usually), but most likely have gotten a lot more refined in the past 7 years. @ $1000.00 this is a great buy, any way you look at it!
Still for sale, I have it posted in several places on the interwebs but MNSubaru members have dibs on it for $1000 firm. So, whoever comes to me with cash first takes it.
