Hi Paul Revere--I have great summer tires and wheels already posted (Motegi); I also have a CX Racing Intercooler (used 200 miles) but in great condition $150 with pipes. I also have a T70 Supercharger Turbo brand new (never used) for $200. All clean and in excellent condition!

I get a bunch of people angry at me when I answer this question...I guess they don't like to admit that it tapers :(

It's made to fit onto the stock, donut flanged dp.

^Does that affect performance very much? I'm looking at hooking up a VF39.

Personally I don't think it does...or at least not anything you're really going to notice. If you're worried about it, it wouldn't cost that much to have a muffler shop weld on a 3" flange for you.

I haven't bought one yet^, I may buy a cobb mid pipe and axle back with a Megan down pipe? I think, Mike Wray is helping with the set up. I have been looking for a cheaper way to get a turbo back exhaust the cobb setup is $$$ like $1200. So yeah cheaper would be nice.

    ^ not a bad idea!

How about sound, this pipe is loud isn't it?

And new is like $450 right?

This is a great exhaust system, for a decent price. Wont find one much cheaper unless someone wants a trade.

The SPT mid-pipe does taper a tad where the flange is, as it's supposed to mate to a donut gasket on the stock DP. As the power outlook sits, most people on here don't need a 3" exhaust anyways, but that's the general size for aftermarket parts. They flow just fine for most applications.

Invidia will be higher quality, as you can see by the price. But the performance difference should not be noticeable.

Helix DP's are in between cost, and for the one's I've installed... They always fit perfect. They are often on back order though.
