I have a set of Subaru factory STi wheels made by BBS with Nokian Hakkapeliitta tires mounted on them. I had them on my 2009 STi from '09 to '18. That car was lost in an exciting water landing, and has since been replaced, so I no longer need these wheels.

The rims are 17 x 8 from an earlier model year STi (2006 maybe?), and did fit over the big brakes on my '09 STi. Bolt pattern should be 5 x 114.3 if I remember correctly.

The Hakka's on them at the moment have a tread depth of 12/64" to 15/64" across all tires. All four tires have extremely even wear compared to each other. I rotated them regularly and made sure the alignment was right on (track car in the summer). The tread depth difference is that the inside of the tire is worn more than the outside of the tire, presumably from the camber?

These wheels are more than 10 years old, so normal wear and tear is evident. The rims are straight and true though, and balance without issue. Just some curb rash (from the wife driving it... ha ha ha, j/k!) on a couple of them. The pictures should show everything I could find.

I'm asking $800 for the complete set and can meet or deliver in the reasonable Twin Cities metro area. I live in the Maple Grove area.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see them.
The wheels are all cleaned up and ready for the next winter duty cycle!

Okay, obviously there are no photos down here, but I've spent the last hour trying a bunch of different ways to upload them, to no avail. Not sure what my problem is, but I've been on forums for years and never had this issue. If anyone has any advice, I'm all ears. Until then, maybe these google drive links will work?

Looks like maybe the "upload" option did work? There was no indication though? I'll try it again on this reply...

Hmmm.... maybe I got something figured out here... even if the rotation is funky. Sorry about that.

Well now it's just getting to be a mess! I apologize for my inadequacies here. It seems like things are happening even though they act like they aren't. Trying again...

Might have it on the ropes now. Here is the curb rash damage. There is also pitting on the leading edge of some of the spokes.

By the way, these BBS wheels should be much lighter than pretty much any cheap aftermarket wheel you'd find. Probably at least 5 pounds per wheel. Aftermarket wheels weigh 17 to 27 pounds per wheel, but I'm not sure what these actually weigh. Never had them without tires on them.

And if I'm totally on crack with the price, let me know...

Do you happen to have any photos of these clearing the calipers?

No, I don't, but there was at least 4mm of clearance as I always used a wooden paint stir-stick to scrape the compacted snow from the inside surface of the rims after a good session of roosting about. Those paint sticks are 3mm thick and mine had a very thick layer of clear lacquer on it. From what I can remember, it fit easily between the rim and the caliper to get the snow and ice out. Could have been 8mm or more for all I remember. I just know it cleared, and that was the main thing for me at the time.

I'd be happy to let you mount one up to check the fit if you'd like. Just let me know.

Cool thanks for the quick response! I’m interested for sure but waiting to see if I’ll be getting the car this weekend or not. And for the price would you be willing to do $650 if all works out for me? Or am I out of my mind

That sounds like you're going to have some serious fun!

Let me know if you want to meet up somewhere and try fit up a wheel. I live in the Rogers area, but can easily meet in the Maple Grove/Plymouth area as I'm there frequently. I can bring a good hydraulic floor jack and a cordless impact, etc. if you let me know the lug size. I should be available all weekend more or less.

Yeah, getting winter specific tires is like cheating compared to summer tires!

Send me a PM and I'll give you my phone number to work out the details offline.

This is exactly how I explain it to "non-believers". Seriously. AWD, turbo, and snow tires is such an awesome experience.

Yea I can't wait. Ive had 2 other awd cars but I've always run cheap all seasons. On my old a4 I was an idiot and ran a summerish all season tire on 18 inch miros all year round. So Im excited to finally try this kind of setup out.

Okay, it has been confirmed. These 17" factory STi wheels made by BBS do NOT fit on a 2018 STi. Bummer x 2!

So I'm not sure what year things changed, but they absolutely did fit on my 2009 STi.

    STILL AVAILABLE!!!
