So I bought these pistons, rings, pins, bearings and rods for a pretty decent price only to find out they are for a 2.5 Sti motor and not for just any old 2.5. Apparently the stroke is different! Dammit!!
So I offer them up to you fine folks for what I paid. $325.00 They are Wiseco forged pistons with all the parts needed for lower end rebuild. they have been paired and matched for a nice balanced install, weights of each are written on the pistons and all are marked for ease of install.
Also have the Walbro fuel pump kit for another $75.00 everything is brand spankin new in the box!
Well, the rods are in bags and the bearings are wrapped in cloth, but you get my drift... Happy to deliver to Metro area at my convenience!

So are the rods all the same size? These pistons and rods will fit any EJ 25? And yes I may be a F*cken Idiot!

255 and 257 are the same the difference is the quality of the pistons, not sure if the rods are forged but 257 internals will fit into a 255

    Uh...no

Same quality pistons...both are crap and will break
Different design piston due to combustion chamber difference on the 255 (06+) & 257. And no. Sti are not forged.
Both 255 & 257 share the same crank and rods. Though the newer sti now do have the nitrided crank

I did and the wrx pistons are more prone to ringland failure and the pistons are only 2cc in difference. No one really says what the breaking point of either is.
