http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8476543&st=tomtom&type=product&id=1186004742264 I have an iPhone and with the Google triangularization update they just installed I have literally no need for a GPS now. I got it the week before Christmas, since then I have used it a few times, I have John Cleese's voice installed as one of the voices. It would be for the full kit, charger, window sticky thingy, etc. And the directions (if I can find them). $140. I live in NE Minneapolis.
I am pretty much booked the rest of the week and out of town starting Wed. Would it be feasible to pick this up on Sunday night or anytime next week?
Google is accurate within 1000 meters and true GPS is within 15. Not to mention you'll have no GPS like ability once you are out of cell tower range. It's not a replacement for the real thing.
yes, i have used the google "gps" on the i phone, and lets say it was way more then 1000 meters off(like 3 miles). It uses triangulation of cell phone towers.
