    FP welded the internal waste gate flapper when I bought it since I went EWG
    Installed last summer, about 3k miles on turbo

    Yes, I clocked it about 45 degrees.

    More like 90 degrees. My geometry is bad.

    Anyhow, for reference the compressor "outlet" is face straight up. I didn't want all the bends that came with a FMIC kit so we clocked it this way so that the air flow is more efficient. Can be clocked back by anyone if it's what they want.

    I think I have pictures on my dslr camera at home. But so you can picture it, the 08+ wrx has that funny flange on the stock turbo, which faces the up (where it mounts to the stock tmic).

    The FP turbo is an STI or older wrx fitment turbo, whereas it doesn't have that funny flange. If I were keep the turbo clocked the way it is from FP I wouldve needed a 180 u bend coupler or re did some of my FMIC piping.

    Clocking it up, I used a 90 coupler into the charge pipe which ran next to the intake. I'll find pictures hopefully.
