Is your ps2 one of the old block ones, or a slim? I need a new ps2, but I've killed a both the block kind and a slim. I was able to keep a block one running for about a year after it broke by resetting the laser every other month or so, and really wouldn't want to do that again...
Did you put this stuff up on craigslist? I had my xbox and psp for sale for a while on here then I put it up over there and it went really quick.
