    Is it a kit for 08's only or will it work for other years too?

    I'm guessing it is for earlier year wrx/sti and didn't fit his 08 wrx (legacy style pump).

    part number and/or pics would be helpful

    looks just like the 02+ pump and filter. I didn't see the wire connector though

    Should be able to use the stock wiring harness. It's the rubber grommet in the install kit that you might need.

    JSC speed part number for this kit is "wal 400-791G"

    Then it is Walbro GSS342 made for pre-08 wrx/sti and forester.
