What's that you say? Oops, you wish you had better traction right now, and you never got around to getting winter tires for your Subie? Well here's your chance. These are: Sport Edition allow wheels. 5x100, 16", high offset. CE model, I believe. Possible CD. See the pic. Nokian WR G2 Tires. 215/55R16 Bought just over a year ago. Used last winter. Still in great shape and ready to rock you through the snow and ice. I sold my WRX, and I had every intention of moving these tires over to new wheels for my Mazda. Sadly, I have discovered that the Speed 3 doesn't really like 16" wheels. So now I have no use for these awesome tires - time to sell them off. The wheels: Perfectly decent and good looking alloys. There's nothing terrific or special about them. I believer there should be no curb rash on any of them. You and I should examine them all in person to confirm that. There are probably some imperfections - I'm not a complete neat freak. The tires: The *best* choice for a daily winter tire you can make. What's that you say? The Hakkapeliitta? Yes, those rock out completely on ice and snow. But do you really want to be driving them all winter in the city when you're mostly on dry pavement? No way. They're uber winter tires. They don't like it. You won't like it. They'll get all squirmy and vague and nasty on pavement. The WR tires, on the other hand, are awesome on dry pavement. They're just as good as your average sport touring tire. No, they aren't as awesome as your summer sticky tires. But they are as good as most of the usual cheap OEM stuff you see, and as the regular tires that boring people buy. Which is pretty good for a winter tire. How do they do on snow and ice? Darned good! Add them to a Subie and you have a rockin' combination that will get you through anything Minnesota can throw at you, short of full-on offroading. Seriously, they will keep you on the road and keep your rolling, in comfort. Those Hakkas? They're overkill if you live in the city. Do you live in Sandstone, and need to drive back and forth to your farm? Go buy the Hakkas, not these. But if you live in Eden Prairie and want to commute to St. Paul, these are what you want. So, how much am I asking for them? I see them as: an okay set of wheels worth about $250, and a great set of tires worth $400. So I'd like to get $600 for them. You'd like to buy them for less than that - I understand that. So how about we don't haggle. You come look at them, and see that they're exactly what I say they are. You do your research ahead of time so you know that they're what you want. You hand me $500 cash. I help you load them up in your trunk. We both go home happy. I don't want to trade. I don't want to split them up. I don't want to deliver them. If you want them delivered, we can talk at $600. If you want to trade for a fully working digital era pinball machine, we can talk up to me adding a little money, depending. If you want to trade for an equivalent 17" set of winter wheels/tires for a MazdaSpeed 3 (5x114, 45mm+ offset), we can talk. If you want to split them up - feel free to buy the whole set, split them, and sell what you don't want.
