FS: Work VS-XX, 18x8, staggered offset, 225-40r18 Extremecontact DW Tires

ARE YOU ****ING AWESOME ENOUGH TO OWN THESE?!

Up for sale is a set of 18x8 staggered offset Work VS-XX wheels with a custom dark gunmetal powder coat on the faces with polished lips and hardware, with silver Work center caps. Barrels have been painted black.

Front offset is +48 (ish), rear is unknown. The barrels are half an inch narrower, the lips are half an inch wider, and 3mm was machined off the backspacing. It fits my legacy with no rubbing.

Wheels were refinished by That Wheel Guy, who coordinated the powder coating, got the lips and barrels in, fixed all the dings and curb rash, polished each individual wheel bolt, and did all other associated labor. New valve stems were installed at time of re-assembly.

Tires are 225-40-18 Continental Extremecontact DW tires with around 7500 miles on them. Bought new and installed this spring by Samaritan Tire.

Why the sale?

Fixed a lot of **** on the car recently, and had to dig into savings more than I wanted to. Does this mean you can lowball me? No. I don't need to sell these. I'd just like more money in the bank. If I don't get a reasonable offer, I'll just keep them.

Price? $3500 OBO, cash talks. LOLWUT? Yes. Three thousand, five hundred United States Dollars or best offer. These wheels are $750 EACH when new, in a boring color. These are custom offset, custom powder coat, wrapped in good tires with low miles. Go find another set like these, in this condition, for a bunch less. I'll wait.

Like I said, I don't need to sell these, so if you're going to try to offer your Brotas plus 200 dollars, I will politely tell you to go **** yourself.

I will consider trades for quality wheels plus cash on your end. Volk, Rays, BBS, OZ, the right Enkeis, etc, but they must fit my car properly. Prefer 18", no wider than 8". No stancy goatse butthole tires.

I am willing to separate wheels and tires. If I do, tires stay with me. Price without tires is $3,250 OBO.

I will ship anywhere in the continental United States at your expense.

Why rebuilt them? They're freshly rebuilt already.

 

Otherwise, I can put you in touch with That Wheel Guy and he can take care of you. New lips aren't that hard to come by.

 

18x8 +48 will be too skinny now that my axle conversion is almost done, I love the wheels but I'd need more barrel and more lip.

Walk me through this. You are at a pawn shop that you can prove has received stolen merchandise. Don't the police get involved at this point, or does an exchange like this happen.

cops were involved, pawn shop had no problems with turning them over as stolen merchandise, I offered to buy them for more than they originally paid out, they accepted the deal. Insurance was OK with it, police were OK with it, pawn shop was OK with it, I was OK with it. Everything is on the up and up. My wife went to the pawn shop with the documentation from the police case after the original theft, with an officer accompanying her.

 

I figured this way, they made some cash for their trouble instead of losing money, i got my stuff back, police get the information of the person who pawned them, and insurance doesn't have to follow up with anything else since we purchased the wheels back.
