ok so here's what happened... on my way home from work today i get stopped literally a block away from my house, by this cop that has harrassed me for almost 5 years. he knows nothing about cars and doesn't understand why people modify them in any way. i've recieved about 6 exhaust fix-its from him, not bad seeing he's pulled me over 14 times. anyways, i get a fix-it ticket and he tells me how stupid i am for "putting covers on" my tail lights and that its illegal. but they're not covers, they're painted to match my car with actual car paint. they're extremely transparant yet don't look faded. if i remember correctly someone was saying something about your tail lights having to be visible from a certain distance to be legite. does anyone recall or know anything about this? so i basically need to get this damn thing signed off in 2 weeks. my options are: trade taillights with another wagon owner, for good or temporarily buy a drivers side tail light (i already have a spare pass. side) here's a pic of what they look like, professionally sprayed, matches 02-03 midnight blue metalic
damn that sucks man, what cop was it? why the hell dont they pull over all the f-ing trucks that drive around with STRAIGHT PIPED V8s, tint and taillights? omg that makes me soooo mad whenever I get pulled over for exhaust and like 5 trucks drive by louder than me!
