I am looking to install some more mods soon. I have found the high flow 255 liter Walbro pump for $90. Anyone know good venders that has them cheaper?

What is a good methanol kit? How much power could this add to a stage 2 STi? Anyone running one right now? Disadvantages? Should I think about a larger TMIC with one of these?

I know lots of questions. What do you expect from an ex-Chevy guy?

2005 STi w/V2 down to a Cobb cat back (with the restriction removed), GPMoto snorkal delete elbow, AP, and Perrin pully.

90 bucks is about as cheap as you are going to get for a Walbro 255.

Would you go with another brand? Seems like most places are stocking the Walbro.

walbro is a great pump. i run their 255lph's in both of my 240's. not sure how good the subaru's fuel pump wiring is, but i'd recommend running new wires and a relay for the pump

No need.. most people just take the old pump out and put the new one in. It's really just a plug and play operation.

SMC makes a great kit for meth/alky/water.

At this point in your cars modifications the pump is not what's struggling, it's the injectors. Adding meth will help because you can lean the car out making more power and putting less of a strain on the injectors. However, a fuel pump is not a bad insurance policy.

No need for a new tmic at this point.

The car also has to be tuned for meth.. you can't just start spraying and pick up 30whp.

I think thats all the questions.

That's a good price for the Walbro.

For the injection kit I would w/o a doubt go with http://www.alkycontrol.com/

Speak with Julio. The guy has a passion for what he does and knows his stuff. I went with his kit b/c he over engineers everything on it:
brass fittings, ss mesh lines, pumps that have never had a failure, in-line filter, plus even finer filter at nozzle. SMC is a good kit for the price, but like anything, you get what you pay for and when doing injection on your car, don't skimp, otherwise it could cost you your engine!
