Fuel Pump Controller on a 2002 subaru wrx

    hi,
    i need more information on the fuel pump controller or the fuel pump relay,
    where is it connected too
    where can i find it on my car
    can it be replaced
    can it be repaired
    where can i buy it
    Can it die or malfunction

    I believe it may be under the kick panel on the right side... open the door then under the dash where your foot would kick... I believe the fuel relay is under there ????


    oh yeah I am talking about the relay

    It is connected to the rear wiring harness.
    It is on the passenger side of the trunk behind the trunk liner.
    It can be replaced.
    Probably can't be repaired.
    A dealership.
    It can die, but it doesn't happen very often.

    i need to find a place to mount mine in the L. but yes, its in the rear of zee car

    Anybody on the forums have a spare fuel pump controller that I can borrow to test it on my car?

    That is a really bad idea. If your controller is bad, it's probably due to a short. If it is dead and you hook up someone else's FP controller- it might kill that one as well.

    Disconnect the one that's in there, check all the connections to make sure they have the voltage, resistance, or ground connection they are supposed to with the key in the "on" position, then try a new FP controller.
