I am about to buy a new fuel rail for my 02 WRX. I have been looking at a couple options. Anyone have any suggestions? I have been looking at the turbo XS and the perrin. Either one of these going to work better than the other? has anyone had any issues with any of these?
I would go with the agency power fuel rails if I were you! I have the perrins and dont really care for them!
if it was up to me i would do aps. that way you can customize the lines if needed to fit around anything with an fittings and braided line. parrins worked fine on my wrx? agencys are pretty much the same as perrins and txs?
i don't think anyone has really toped out the stock fuel rails. but when you put on a bigger injector like a 800cc+ you want to make sure you have the fuel there when you need it. or if you plan to run a after maket fpr it makes things so much easier.
Its more important that the rails are in parallel. When in series, large injectors have been known to create a quazi "dead" spot near the #3 injector. Thats why a lot of people end up with leak-down in cyl #3 or just frying it altogether.
no one sells a non parallel set of rails. you can only get such a wounder full piece if you hire a supper mega awesome subie builder to make you super mega screw up like rich did.
