No more fun cars for anyone. So we only got a choice between diesel(barely) or hybrid because nothing else Subaru makes comes close to 35.5 mpg? Sounds like the Subes we're driving now are gonna be collector cars or fwd ftl.

the 35.5mpg is an average for a companies model line-up. meaning if subaru adds some hybrids that get 45mpg they can keep selling wrx's. It's in subaru's best interests to add several highly economical cars to their line-up

Maybe they will bring back the Justy platform. Only way they will get 40+ MPG and keep their 'every model has AWD' slogan.

Dream on about a 350 ft/lb turbo diesel. It will be more like 85 hp 105 tq in on a Justy platform... at best. =P

It's about time! I want me a 1000tq electric/Hybrid. Some private companies are making them now so its just a matter of time before the go into production. Now certainly the Blind Society will have something to say about this.

Either a diesel Forester or a Legacy for me. I am getting to the point that one car can't do it all. That is why I need more than one ride.

DONE! (submitted an opinion to Fuji). As I mentioned to them, I would LOVE to see a turbo diesel in a Baja. But a Forester will work just as good
