So I was returning some parts that I didn't needed. Got some $$ back for more stuff. Lue was with me and he decided to go bug the salesman on the new '08 WRX. I came back out after BS-ing with Jeff? and Erik. I get out there and couldn't find Lue, but eh, I got to see a Satin Black Pearl WRX "HATCH." Pretty color! I walk up a few rows and see a few other turbo Subarus.....OBXT, and LGT. I walked back into the showroom and then I see this silver HATCH drive right by. IT'S COULDN'T BE!?!?! LUE BUGGED THE SALEMAN AND GOT TO DRIVE AN '08 WRX HATCH!!!! THAT BASTAGE! VID...
actually, not a joy ride, i really wanted to see how one would feel. From my experience in driving it. It feels very stable, i took some turns a little hard, Once planted, the rear end stays out, it's like it's telling me to turn harder. The stability is awesome on these cars. The power delivery is very linear as to be expected with the 2.5L. The car itself does not feel heavy at all as compared to the previous WRX's i've driven. This car feels light as a feather like my RS and very tossible. Sad to say, the car i test drove was 28K. I'd rather invest a bit more and get a STi if i was gonna invest that much into a car.
That sounds like a Joy Ride, son.....sounds like you really ENJOYED......... the ride. LOL I found the results from my test drive to be simular, the only difference was the pressure from my co-driver who was the X-Games champion and D1 drifter. :laugh:
